Joan began her real estate career in residential sales in 1977. She later co-owned and operated her own company which included refurbishing and running commercial properties including 'Eiler's Inn' in Laguna Beach and 'Rainbow Tavern Lodge' in Lake Tahoe. In 1983, she joined the team at First Team (formally Nolan Real Estate) where she found her niche as a property management and leasing specialist.
